[City In Disarray] 01 - New London

##Excerpt from Datalog 0xB54: [City of Disarray // New London]

“20XX, New London has finally been built. An urban sprawl spanning the length of Old London, mixing the old with the new. The previous companies were too greedy.. Fuck ‘em. Their actions doomed the old city, coating it in a thick smog. All this was caused by them and their ‘factories’. The streets have become a maze of choking fog but.. Still, people will keep soldiering on, as they always do. Some saw it coming. Some joined the unions and environmental groups while others protested in the streets. But it all fell on deaf ears, as the government was only interested in the money of big business. Grab the cash and let the people die, yeah.. what d’you expect from those bureaucrats. They once called it the “City of Opportunity”, what a joke. Don’t let the neon lights fool you. The city exists as a shadow of its former self and there’s always some coked up fuckhead waiting behind every corner. Although the walls built across the border keep most of the horrors out, there are plenty more hiding within. Welcome to New London.”

Cinematic and v tasteful. The shift into 80s wubs and minor chords is like the camera panning closer to the city streets, how cool yikes

Awesome! Dark synthwave is one of my favorite genres, and this is a fantastic take on it.

And so the story begins...
